Miss Uganda 2018 Quiin Abenakyo has finally opened up about the allegations of having an affair with the Kyabazinga of Busoga.
Since the time she qualified as a beauty Queen at the Miss World Africa Pageant, rumors have been circulating that the youthful King of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope is in love with Abenakyo.
However, according to Abenakyo, she says her fellow Ugandans are free to insinuate whatever comes into their minds but the truth is, she is seeing someone who is not the Kyabazinga and optimistic of walking down the aisle so soon.
During an interview at Club 400 Bukoto, Kampala, Quiin says, "People are there to talk and criticize. I keep telling people, do whatever makes u feel comfortable to sleep at night. I'm however seeing someone else and eagerly warming up for my wedding."
In 2018, the prime minister of Busoga kingdom, Dr. Joseph Muvawala, said that the kingdom wanted the Kyabazinga to marry the reigning Miss World Africa Quiin Abenakyo.
Abenakyo was even invited by the Kyabazinga to come over at the palace as an honor for putting Uganda and Busoga on the world map.
The two went ahead to carry out numerous social awareness campaigns in Busoga and this sparked allegations that they must be dating.
Also, Kyabzainga’s posts pondering the former Miss Uganda’s speech at the finals miss world Africa made people believe that the youthful king could be way over heels for the beauty queen.
However, this prompted Gabula Nadiope William Kadhumbula IV to become supportive of Abenakyo’s dreams while she chased for the crown.
Nevertheless, after months of playing hide and seek, Quiin Abenakyo comes out to shatter the allegations of dating the Busoga kingdom Kyabazinga.
