Jackie Chandiru Excites Fans With New Collabo Hit

From several interviews with local media stations, Jackie Chandiru seems to have recovered from a drug addiction that has lasted close to five years. While at the Katch Up show on NBS, Jackie revealed how she had successfully battled drug addiction.


The former Blu3 artist is back in full blast and has promised to compensate for the lost time. Now that she is back in the music industry, she poised to get assistance from experienced producers such as Washington, A Pass and the sensational Daddy Andre who will help her find her feet in the Uganda music market.

Her comeback into the entertainment industry is already visible, at the beginning of June, Jackie produced ‘Quarantine’ hit which became an anthem to her fans during the lockdown.


The talented songbird wrote the song and recorded it under EJ Records check it out on her YouTube.


To boost her music career, Jackie Chandiru has teamed up with a Kenyan renowned artist Arrow Bwoy and produced a hit entitled The One.


In the video, Jackie Chandiru struts exquisite alluring costumes, Arrow Bwoy, on the other hand, is seen entangling with beautiful slay queens in a low-light film set that assumes a gothic experience.


The release of this song is exciting news to Jackie’s fans as it gives the impression that the songbird is getting better and completely free from the dangers of drug addiction.


Queen of the Nile, Chandiru displayed supreme creativity. The collabo has simple and danceable beats, with English, Swahili, and a little Luganda in the lyrics catering for both the Ugandan and Kenyan audiences.


Her Drug Addiction

The Gold digger hitmaker told the public that her troubles stemmed from the abuse of a prescription painkiller Pethidine, which she used to treat her back pain from an injury sustained when thugs broke into her home.

Since 2017, Jackie's health took a tumble and it was rumoured that her condition was getting very serious.


“My disorder started about five years ago. At that time, I had back pain. The doctor noticed how much pain I was in and prescribed Pethidine. I got addicted to it and started getting it without prescription,” Jackie told KFM.

She was then flown to Kenya when her health deteriorated and her addiction was at its peak so she could start her life over.


While she shared her painful story of recovery, Former Blu*3 singer Jackie Chandiru denied reports that drugs like heroin and cocaine are what led her into rehab.


Her Love Life

Jackie Chandiru is separated from Nol Van Vliet her longtime Mzungu boyfriend who could not cope with Jackie's addiction and raging public opinion.


Despite the bitter experience of parting ways with Vliet, the Gold Digger hitmaker has given love another try.


In April this year, Jackie showed off an engagement ring on her Instagram, sending love to her fans during this lockdown letting them know that no situation is permanent.


"Beautiful... Isn't it? Lockdown isn't only about tears, but also tears of joy." She posted.


Jackie also revealed how she hates sadists. In a long post on social media, she shuns people who are happy as other people’s lives are messed up.


Those fellows who misreport whatever she posts on social media platforms to sow negativity.
