It's better to support Bobi Wine and die poor than Museveni and suffer locally-Bad Black

Updated: Aug 23, 2020

Kampala city socialite Bad Black has vowed not to support the ruling NRM because of Bryan White’s ailing condition and instead will support People Power leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

The Masolo Queen on Monday paid a visit to ailing former tycoon Brian Kirumira aka Bryan White who is battling stomach complications.

“I have refused to return to NRM because of such things. Museveni should leave the statehouse and see the conditions of such men. It is better to support Bobi Wine and die poor and contented than claim to support Museveni and still suffer,” Bad Black.

“Museveni has withdrawn his security and now someone can do harm to Bryan White. Does Museveni want to say he does not know Bryan White? Has he not called him to state house before? Why cant he take him to Nairobi for treatment?” She added.

In a video making rounds on social media, Bad Black further opened up on how Bryan White improved her lifestyle from the time she was bankrupt.

“I am really praying that he gets better. He has been good to me, some of us cannot forget where he picked us from,” Bad Black said and broke down.

“I got money and spent it stupidly, it is Bryan White who came and told me to build a house for my mother and get her out of a mud and wattle house. He paid the money for construction and also gave me some money to get me back on my feet,” she said.

Bad Black is one of the first celebrities to have paid a visit to the bedridden socialite, Bryan White at his rented home in Buziga.

Bryan White was discharged from Nakasero hospital by medical doctors to wait for his medical results since his blood samples were flown to South Africa for further examination.

Bryan whites illness started when Parliament issued summons to him over alleged reports that he was sexually assaulting different girls in his house.

The director of Public Prosecution also picked interest in the matter a month ago following an interface with the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee.
