Jose Chameleon and Bebe cool are at loggerheads again and looks like their music battle is not ready to stop.
Moses Ssali also known as Bebe Cool has come out to brag claiming that no Ugandan artist sings more sensible and touching songs than him, not even his competitors.
This came after a misunderstanding between Bebe cool and Singer, Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone over who has better hit songs.
At the beginning of this year, Chameleon released Baliwa while Bebe Cool dropped a collabo Feeling Ft Rude Boy. But Baliwa became more trending than Feeling as No.1 on Youtube for the past weeks.
This didn’t sound good for the bigmouth boss Bebe Cool as he said Chameleon should stop crying crocodile tears in his songs and produce good music that sells insinuating that the songs are fit for burials.
He says, “My brother should move out of his comfort zone. We are tired of people who only lament. I hear Baliwa, such songs are senseless. Matter of fact no single UG artist has more sensible songs than me for the past 25 years I have been making music.” he said during an interview with a local TV station.
On the other hand, Chameleon says Bebe Cool only does bubble gum music, and that despite his age, he has refused to grow musically during an interview with the UNCUT team.
“I want you to go back and listen to my songs one by one, and then listen to Moses Ssali’s music. I was singing ‘Katupakase’, while he was singing ‘Kusi Kusi’. I sang ‘Basiima Ogenze’ and he did ‘Ani ya’ani’. Now we are singing ‘Baliwa’ and he is singing ‘Wire Wire’,” He said.
Bebe Cool shuns down Chameleon's opinion about his songs and says that he released songs like Kus Kus and Katono because most of his sensible songs have been insulted by fans.
“.. I have songs like Never Trust No People, Freedom, Ntuyo Zange but fans never bothered to listen to them. You find that they prefer Katono and Wire Wire”, he continued.
According to Bebe Cool, Chameleon does not pay producers that is why his songs are not of quality, and therefore he has given him permission to use his studios only after paying receipts.
