Renown Radio city presenter Miss Deedan Muyira has forsaken the station after signing a more lucrative deal with 88.2 Sanyu FM. She will join Yvonne Koreta and Salvado in the new Sanyu Breakfast Show to launch next week.
The management of Sanyu FM reported that Ms Deedan has come at the right time when the station badly needed a fresh new look.
The sky is the limit for this move since Deedan is one of the best radio presenters in Kampala and Sanyu FM is the oldest privately-owned radio station.
With the experience of more than five years gained from Radio City, Deedan Muyira is expected to give her listeners fresh and renewed entertainment.
Gareth Onyango and Salvador Idringi were the people behind the signing of the famous radio presenter to Sanyu FM. After a lot of speculation, Deedan has finally been unveiled, she made her first appearance on Sanyu airwaves this morning.
Diana Muyira popularly known as Deedan Muyira started out her entertainment career in Nairobi, Kenya and has now grown in stature. She is a recognised MC at famous Blankets and Wines events.
Well-known for her powerful voice, Deedan is a Ugandan radio host, popular MC and actress who acted as Tracy Kintu in Nana Kagga’s Beneath The Lies.
The station management says the reformation of programmes on the station and Wake Up Morning Show, in particular, will be bigger and better than other competing radio morning shows.
It will constitute informative discussion, quality news and compelling analysis which will give listeners good vibes to start their day.
